English Test for Study Abroad: Highlights From the AECC Global Education Fair 2026
PTE Magic Philippines joined the AECC Global Education Fair 2026 in Manila and Cebu, and the energy was incredible. Your English test for study abroad sits at the heart of every dream we heard at our booth.
We met future nurses, engineers, and students from across the country. Many stopped by with one big question: how do I reach my target score and study abroad?
A Weekend of Study Abroad Dreams in Manila and Cebu
The fair filled two of the country’s finest venues. We welcomed students at the Dusit Thani Hotel in Manila on 15 August, then at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cebu on 16 August.
Thank you to everyone who visited the PTE Magic Philippines booth. Your questions, your goals, and your excitement made the weekend special. Did you miss us this time? Do not worry. Our team is always ready to help, so message us anytime, and we will guide you to your next step.
What the AECC Global Education Fair Offers
The AECC Global Education Fair brings the world of study abroad under one roof. It connects Filipino students with universities and colleges from many countries.
At the fair, you meet representatives from Australia, the UK, the USA, Canada, New Zealand, and Ireland. You explore courses, career paths, and scholarships in a single visit. You can follow future events on the AECC Global Philippines page.
AECC also guides students through the visa process, often with free expert advice. So the fair offers course options, funding options, and visa support in one place. English test guidance sits right beside all of it, and that is exactly where PTE Magic comes in.
Your Student Visa Starts With Your English Test
Your student visa journey starts with your English test. Most study destinations ask for proof of English before they offer admission. Your admission then supports your student visa application. So a strong English score sets the whole plan in motion.
The English test for study abroad is not a small step. It is the foundation that carries your application, your visa, and your first year of study.
How the English Test Fits Each Student Visa
Each destination sets its own rule, yet the pattern stays the same. You prove your English, you win admission, and you move toward your visa.
- USA (F-1 visa). Your university sets the English standard and issues your I-20. PTE Academic is accepted by more than 1,500 US institutions.
- Australia (Subclass 500). The student visa requires English proof, and the Department of Home Affairs accepts PTE Academic.
- UK. UK universities and student routes accept PTE Academic for admission and study.
- Canada. Canadian institutions and study permit streams accept PTE Academic.
- New Zealand. Your institution sets the English level, and PTE Academic is accepted.
One strong PTE score can support your plan across these destinations. So you prepare once and open many doors.
